Precious Bennett is an academic associate for the School of Social Work at Arizona State University (ASU). Before joining ASU, Precious, a licensed master social worker, served as a dedicated refugee health advocate at Catholic Charities, where she provided crucial emergency medical coordination and client rights training to both clients and health providers. Her experience in social work includes supporting vulnerable populations such as survivors of domestic violence, adolescents, youth, refugees, and asylum seekers.
Proudly a first-generation graduate, Precious earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at ASU. She is passionately committed to fostering an inclusive, positive, and safe learning environment for students navigating their educational journeys. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she was nominated for Supporting Student Success by ASU in 2024.
